An airbrush artist’s tribute to search-and-rescue, police and military dogs, rendered on the bodywork of an ambulance and created in Banning, may be on display at events Saturday and next Wednesday in Riverside, Dingmasters manager Charles Young said.

The custom-finished ambulance, now known as America’s Forgotten Heroes Tribute Vehicle, may be displayed Saturday at the War Dog Memorial, March Field Air Museum, 22550 Van Buren, Riverside.

The museum is hosting a Welcome Home Vietnam Vets Day program at 1 p.m. Saturday, with free lunch for veterans of the Vietnam War starting at 11 a.m.
