CHRISTMAS?! I don’t even want to think about it!
The Marshall County sheriff’s office has begun its annual Christmas toy drive for needy children next month.
County residents can donate new toys or donate money to help the department provide toys to children at Christmas. Donations can be made at the sheriff’s office between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Families wishing to receive a toy for their children can begin applying Oct. 3 in the sheriff’s office. Enrollment will stay open until Nov. 30 or until all the toys and donations are gone. Toys will be provided for children through the age of 14.
