In a Washington’s Most Wanted exclusive, we’re introducing you to the two Port of Seattle K-9 officers and their partners assigned to the D.E.A’s ‘High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force’.
In the last 16 months, they’ve been responsible for almost 60 arrests and the seizure of millions of dollars in dangerous drugs and cash, and that’s why we’re pleased to recognize them as our March ‘Officers of the Month’.
Co-workers affectionately call Det. Cory Stairs and Det. Matthew Bruch the ‘Wonder Twins’. They hired on about the same time at the Port of Seattle. They’re best friends and with their K-9 partners ‘Caro’ and ‘Lilly’, are tenacious crime-fighters who the D.E.A Special Agent in Charge Doug James says are making a huge impact. “During the last 16 months, these two officers have been responsible for the seizure of 34 pounds of meth, 30 pounds of cocaine, 5 pounds of heroin, and $1.4 million.”
