This was one of the best affairs I have had the honor to attend. The short time I spent in the corps. with my partner, Prince, is a time of my life I am most proud.
I wear the anniversary tee shirt with pride, as it draws attention and questions.
Mickey Blair, Robert Bouchard (Boo) and others that trained and supervised me has always and will always be in my fondest memories.

Walton County gave him up due to hip problems, not because of worms. I am happy though that they found him a new handler and that he is doing well. My husband handled this dog for Walton County.

So TPD was going to sell the horses? It was announced today they GAVE the horses to the Boys Home. WHAT A DEAL!! ANOTHER LIE BY THE GOVERNMENT!
Gorunded the helicopters. That just put Tulsa back to 1984. WHAT A DEAL!!
The furlough days were to save money. It cost an additional 17% in overtime expenses. The layoffs are predicted to raise that figure an additional 5%. So are we really saving $? No wonder Taylor decided not to run for re-election. She knew what was coming, lied to everyone and knew she had a snow balls chance in h–l to get re-elected. TPS has it in their contract that officers can take vehciles home. That’s fine! But Muskogee, Wagoner, Pryor, Claremore? Get real, if you live in the Tulsa Corporate Limits, fine. But no where else.Then the tax payer furnishes their vehicles to drive to their part time job. City says this makes residents think their are more cars on the street. We are smart enough to know different.
It’s time that Tulsa City Government got real,stop relying on just sales tax revenues! Put someone in charge of finances that knows how to figure things out. Maybe they need a good Quick Books Computer program. It worked for my business. If the people, businesses, corporations in Tulsa allow this then they deserve what they get. Longer police response, higher crime, unsafe and darkened streets.
What’s next? Fire and Ambulance service. If the city has their way we will have to buy more garden hose to fight our own fires. Large BLS 1st Aid Kits to handle our own Medical Emergencies. If they get away with this when will it stop?
Those running the city draw hugh salaries. Did any of them give up their perks? No way.
The idea of high ranking officials in all the different stations is crazy. These can be run by at Capt. or Lt.
Down size the command staff. There are far to many command officers.
We need the Chief, 1 Inspector, 1 Deputy Chief, 1 Major of each division.
Then 1 Capt., 1 Lt., 1 Sgt. per division, per shift. As it is the city is far to over loaded in command staff. More wasted money.
Again on take home vehicles. Command staff that do not respond after their duty hours, do not require a city owned vehicle.
Money saved on Cellular Phones and Pagers. If they can do away with these now they were not needed in the first place. Just another city employee getting a freebie on tax pay money!!
Here is an other one. Going to save $32,321.00 on the Civilian Volunteer Police Services Coordinator. The kicker here is VOLUNTEER. Why do they spend money on a volunteer position? More money in somone’s pocket again!
Why not get rid of some other city employees? You drive by street crews and see 1 guy working, the other 7 standing talking, drinking coffee, or smoking. Won’t this be a better place to cut jobs?
Well again, Tulsa just backed up in time 25+ years. Because of poor and mismanagement in ALL areas of the city.

Body armor is vital. With all the budget cuts how can Police Departments accross the country afford to buy new body armor or at least have the body armor they currently have inspected regularly? It is so sad when problems on Wall Street affect the actual lives of those elsewhere. I hope this economy turns around soon. So sad.

“The greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by the way it’s animals are treated.” – Gandhi Cruelty is a the precursor to more evil deeds, so if a country treats it’s animals inhumanly, it’s evidence of other serious issues.

Hunter’s treatment is unconscionable. “Protecting and Serving” should be FOR Hunter, not just his job motto. Talk about betraying of your own. If there’s conflict between humans, let it stay at that – between the humans. Using Hunter as a pawn is like divorcing couples using their children as pawns or as payback. No amount of bruised ego or insurance money (if that happens to be a factor) can justify this. It’s WRONG. Period. We’re definitely writing them and spreading the word. I hope the animal cruelty groups step in and take legal action.

May the light of G-d surround Hunter, the love of G-d enfold Hunter and the power of G-d protect Hunter.
