West New York used the last remaining hours of 2012 to promote 10 police officers, just in time for the new year.
“This has been a difficult year for everybody, but this is a happy day for me to see (these officers) promoted,” Commissioner Caridad Rodriguez said during yesterday’s ceremony at the municipal courtroom in Town Hall. “I’ve known these guys for years and they definitely deserve it.”
