Florence County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Chad Reid and his K-9 partner, Kim, were named the National K-9 Interdiction Team of the Year for 2011 by the American Police Canine Association (APCA), according to a press release from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
This prestigious award was presented to Reid and Kim at the APCA annual awards banquet Sept. 29 in Hobart, Ind. Sheriff Kenney Boone and other members of FCSO were present for the presentation of the award.
