Police Department rallies support for bike ride honoring fallen officers

Fond du Lac Police Department hopes to raise awareness and funds for the annual Police Unity Tour bike ride.

The tour will be held next May. Police officers from across the United States will start in New Jersey and ride 40 to 100 miles per day for four days. The ride ends at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C., where participants will hold a candlelight vigil for fallen officers, said Detective Pat Primising of the Fond du Lac Police Department.
