Two- and four-legged runners race to raise money for Scranton’s K9 Unit
Despite a two-leg disadvantage, more than 200 runners raced alongside Scranton police dogs Saturday morning in the second annual 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Scranton Police Department’s K9 Unit.
“When the public comes out to support their Police Department, it’s great,” said Police Chief Dan Duffy. “By funding these officers, it’s going to make a difference on the street.”
