Master Police Officer Dewey and his canine teammate, K-9 Rambo, became the first Greenbelt Police K-9 team in history to win first place during the U.S. Police Canine Association (USPCA) Region III patrol dog certification trials.
Dominating the entire field during the individual competition, the Dewey-Rambo duo outperformed 39 handler – dog teams. They had the double honor of also becoming the first Greenbelt K-9 handler – dog team to win the Cahill Award for combined apprehension and obedience.
