Enid Police Department’s newest member is ready to take a bite out of crime.
The 26-month-old black German shepherd arrived in Enid this week following his training at the Tucson kennel where he was purchased.
Officer Chase Bouziden, who is Anakin’s handler, spent the past 14 weeks with the canine, completing handler training at Nightwinds International in Arizona.

Did the “black” part really need to go in the title? Steffi saw it and scratched up my keyboard and screen trying to click on the photo. I suppose I can’t blame it entirely on you, Rebecca, as she is in heat.
She was literally licking the screen once I salvaged what was left of my laptop and showed her the photo. What a stud!
I think that was for their colorblind readers, even though I don’t even have a picture up there.
