An officer who was shot in the line of duty last year will be coming home to Minnesota after being at a Colorado Hospital for treatment.
Chris Dewey, a deputy for the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office, was shot on Feb. 18, 2009.
He has been recovering at Craig Hospital in Denver, Colo. since last year, but the hospital and Dewey’s wife, Emily Dewey, said that he will be discharged sometime next week.
